How did you meet? Carly: The short story- through mutual friends. I remember sitting next to him at a dinner and he remembers meeting me a couple months later at a friend’s birthday party.
How long they have been together? 1 year
What do you each remember about your first date? Carly: We went to grab a drink at a bar in Brickell. The bar actually has a sign that says “you are exactly where you need to be.” I remember being pleasantly surprised by how easy the conversation flowed and found it very chivalrous that he walked me home.
Tell us about the engagement Was it a surprise? Carly: Yes!
Where did it take place? Rittenhouse Square in Philly
Most memorable part: Carly: So many memories! After he proposed in the square, a horse and carriage took us through the city, and a handful of our family and friends surpised me at dinner.

Matt: To make memories with all of our favorite people at the same time.
How are you both feeling about planning your wedding?
Carly: It’s definitely a lot of planning, but we are excited about marrying each other surrounded by our closest family and friends.

Do you have a special song that’s “your song”?
Carly:We like dancing around our apartment to Frank Sinatra classics.
What’s your favorite place to go on a date night?
Carly: Out to a new restaurant in Miami. We also like finding random festivals and activities going on in Miami to take advantage of.

Matt: Cannolis.
Favorite TV show to binge on together:
Carly: The Good Place
Thing you love about your partner the most:
Carly: How much he genuinely cares about the small details in everything he does. He is an incredible planner and you can see how much thought he puts into things- just look at the engagement!
Matt: She has both beauty and brains while being extremely caring about others and their feelings. She makes sure we are always exploring, trying new things and we really have the best time together.
